USB mini Christmas tree with twinkling LEDs

usb-xmas-tree.jpg

My husband and I just put out our fiber optic Christmas tree this afternoon, so the idea of spreading the holiday cheer to my workspace is pretty appealing right now.

Rather than drape my monitor with garland or type through a layer of spray snow, this year I think I'll plug one of these $10 USB Christmas trees into my computer's USB port. Each plastic tree stands proudly at a majestic six inches and lights up with alternating red, green, blue, and cyan LEDs. How festive!
